Waggin’ Tail Acres is an organic mini farm in rural northwestern Greenville County with sheltering oaks, gorgeous evening sunsets across the meadow, long-range views of the Pinnacle Mountain Range, and home to three friendly miniature ponies and one free-range rooster.
Come and stay in Silvia, our 29-foot 1972 Airstream Ambassador, which has been kept 90% original. The ponies, mountain & meadow views, nightly stars & moon glow and country peace & quiet are all free of charge.

Meet the ponies

The three ponies of Waggin’ Tail Acres are so excited to meet you! Skye, Tank and Princess live on our property and love interacting with visitors. While you’re staying with Silvia, you can pass afternoons throwing peanuts and carrots to the ponies, carefully brushing them and watching them mull about the yard.

See Inside

Silvia is a 1972 Airstream Ambassador – she’s one incredible aluminum land yacht!  We’ve christened her “Silvia” after a hit song of ’72 – Silvia’s Mother” by Dr. Hook & The Medicine Show, and also because, well, she’s silver.

Silvia accommodates 1 to 4 guests, is pet friendly and perfect for girls weekends, cyclist stopovers, couples and small families – anyone who wants to get away, relax & recharge.

Explore Travelers Rest and Greenville

While you’re with us, explore Travelers Rest’s many cool shops and restaurants that are less than 10 minutes away.

Although you’ll never want to leave Silvia, Greenville and Hendersonville, NC are only 20 minutes away and Asheville is less than an hour from Silvia.

But last weekend our guests weren’t due to…

Here’s to 2021

I resolved this year that I would be a much better ambassador for Silvia, and this blog is a good way to do that. Gayle and I both really enjoyed working on one project or another in Silvia for most of 2020, and after finishing our work, enjoying evenings on her deck. Now, most of…

Winter with Silvia

Everywhere else feels like it’s snowy, slushy and bone-chilling cold. It’s January. But it’s not really January in Silvia’s corner of the world. Traveler’s Rest is an oasis from the winter blues. Today, it’s 55 degrees and clear as day. Instead of waking up with cold toes and grey slush outside, staying in Silvia during…
